"Drivers following satellite navigation systems through a village [in the Yorkshire Dales] have been directed along a track at the edge of a 100ft cliff. "When I heard this story on BBC radio, I thought it might be a delayed April Fool's story mistaken by the wire services a few days later as genuine. But, it's true. My chief cause for suspicion was the name of the village:
